Doctors, Therapists homework between-sessions modules assignments

The Homework Manager (?page=doctor-homework) lets clinicians build a personal library of homework modules (worksheets, exercises, tracking tools) and assign them to patients to complete between sessions. Patients can then complete/track them from the Patient Portal.

Step-by-step: building a module

  1. Go to Homework Manager.
  2. Create a new module: title, category, description, tags, and the module's content (built as HTML).
  3. Save it to your personal library — reusable across any patient.

Assigning homework

  1. From your library, select a module.
  2. Assign it to a specific patient.
  3. Track completion via the patient's practice log.

Common issues & fixes

both fields must be filled before saving.
the underlying homework tables may not be migrated yet; the page degrades gracefully but some features may be limited until an admin runs the migration.
confirm the patient's portal account is active and the assignment was saved successfully.
