IPD: De-addiction

De-addiction Compliance & State Profiles

De-addiction Compliance (ipd/pages/dadd_compliance.php) manages state-specific regulatory profiles for de-addiction/OST programs — since India's states vary in their Mental Health Review Board (MHRB) intimation requirements and specific OST dispensing rules — plus gives a compliance overview against NDPS requirements. Saving profile changes requires ipd_settings.

Step-by-step

  1. Go to De-addiction Compliance.
  2. Select or create a state profile (a named rule set, e.g., for the state your facility operates in).
  3. Configure the specific rules for that profile (thresholds, limits, and toggles defined by the app's rule schema — e.g., take-home dose limits, MHRB intimation triggers).
  4. Save the profile — it becomes selectable/default for admissions in that jurisdiction.
  5. Review the compliance overview for a snapshot of adherence across active de-addiction admissions.

How it connects to other pages

The active state profile's rules directly govern behavior elsewhere — for example, how many take-home OST doses can be requested (see Take-Home Dose Requests) and default dispensing parameters (see OST Dispensing).

Common issues & fixes

requires ipd_settings; viewing may be broader but saving is admin-restricted.
check which state profile is actually active/applied to the admission; profiles are named and selected per admission or clinic default.
this feature encodes configured rules only; always cross-check with current state/central regulations, since the app doesn't auto-update to reflect regulatory changes.
